What exactly is CBN isolate?
CBN isolate consists of pure (>99% pure) cannabinol. Cannabinol is a cannabinoid, so an active substance from the cannabis plant, just like the active substances CBD and THC. What is special about CBN is that it can be considered the end product of cannabis: it is most common in old plants, as a result of an oxidation process in which THC is transformed into CBN. CBN is therefore extracted from older plants of special varieties of cannabis, where this conversion process occurs faster. By carefully filtering the powerful CBN extract that is created, pure CBN crystals are created.
How does cannabinol isolate work?
Although cannabinol is produced from THC, its effect cannot be compared to this. CBN is not psychoactive. So don't expect a high from it, and certainly no hallucinations. Many people do notice that CBN has a calming effect and that it helps with (chronic) pain, even more so than CBD. More research is needed to say more about this, but what has now become clear is that CBN binds to the endocannabinoid system in our body. This system is involved in a large number of vital processes, such as digestion, thinking and memory, motor skills, the immune system, blood pressure and the sleep-wake rhythm. It plays a balancing role in this, so it is logical to assume that CBN helps to regain balance in the body. But again: more research is needed.

This is how you use CBN crystals
Some people don't really like the taste and smell of one CBN oil. In that case, CBN crystals are ideal, because they are completely tasteless and odorless. Taking crystals actually works just like oil, but of course slightly differently thanks to the solid form. There are roughly three ways of using it:
– Under the tongue, just like with oil. Measure how many (we recommend 10 to 30 mg at a time) CBN crystals you want to take and place this amount under your tongue. Let this sit for one to one and a half minutes and then swallow. In this way, the CBN enters your blood directly.
- Food and drink. You can process the CBN in almost all products. Just be careful about heating it. For example, CBN can be mixed well in tea, smoothies and other drinks. You can also use it in cookies, candies and other edibles.
– Making capsules. A third popular way of taking it is with capsules. You can make these yourself quite easily with empty capsule shells. The advantage of capsules is that you can always take the same amount, which makes dosing easy.
